I'm an avid woodworker and creator.
My 20+ years of experience and love for challenging work shows in the projects I complete. Whether it’s tackling an exciting building project, figuring out how to maximize your budget while updating your home, or expanding your outdoor space with a custom deck or porch, I am always eager to improve and learn. I grew up working alongside my dad and my uncles who taught me a great work ethic, an open mind, and a positive attitude towards life—all of which I bring to every job.

I believe in being a responsible member of my community and planet. Using reclaimed, locally sourced lumber and materials and parts of old homes is sensible and responsible. If a local option doesn’t exist, I make what I need.

Sharing knowledge with others is a priority. Everyone who wants to create something with their own two hands should have the opportunity to better themselves. I am an encourager and a teacher and I love sharing knowledge, just like my dad has shared his with me.
I hired Blue Bench Workshop as my home contractor on a small budget, small kitchen re-do. I had a clear design in mind and he helped me bring my vision to life! Dave is great to work with and together we came up with a plan that allowed me to save money, but still come up with the kitchen I wanted. (For example, he installed the countertops while I painted; he built the backsplash and I covered it!) There is no one more flexible, pleasant, and skilled than Dave Savatski! I’m so happy with my refreshed 100-year-old kitchen!
